A typical Wedneday around here

Disclaimer:  I might be gushing over one of my kids here so if you don't want to hear it skip the first paragraph.

A home-run during the first game of the season.  Ok maybe the kids are suppose to stop at second in this little kids league, but he got the ball over all of their heads, and he was going for it.  The coach has Orion play all the good spots, first time out it was first base, then pitcher (because he knows where the play is), then out field, lets face it this kid can throw the ball, and he can throw it where it needs to go.  He threw it from out field to the home plate, more than once.  I can't get over how much fun it is to watch the kiddos play sports.
This is what happens when a five year old tries to multi-task.  Note to self don't try to walk the dog while riding a bike.

Funny thing yesterday, as we were pulling into the garage we noticed a solicitor leaving our front walkway.  That's not the funny part, wait for it.  I start to roll my eyes and sigh, to which Jake responds with a "I'll take care of it."  Well he gets out of the car and walks up to the guy.  This man starts with "Are your parents home?"  This is when I start to laugh and cannot stop.  Poor guy he never had a chance.  And the sad thing is, we are probably older than he is.
